"A local part shop is selling what they say is a Dynacorn steel hood, modeled after a 1969 Pontiac Trans Am. The hood has 2 scoops that extend forward. They are telling me that the hood will also fit a 1968 firebird with no modifications to the latch assembly. Can you verify this. Also, can this item be purchased from you directly? I could not find it on your website. Thanks for your time.

The pin and the spring are the same. The latch should be usable, but I am not sure. Consult with a Firebird Guru.
